Release status

We are using the ns-3.31 milestone tag to track issues and merge requests in our tracker. We hope to work through the below issues in January and then make an initial release candidate for testing sometime in February:

Release goals

The following new models are planned.

• TCP Linux Reno: Needs some documentation updates
• TCP Cubic: Needs some regression tests written
• TCP DCTCP: Merged
• Dual Queue Coupled PI2 AQM: Needs some regression tests written
• ECN support for FQ-CoDel AQM: Needs a regression test
• 3GPP TR 38.901 channel model: Part 1 of 2 is merged
• GSoC 2019 DCN project (if not the whole project, at least the mainline patch): Needs further review
