- ns-3.18 was released on 29 August 2013.
- 4 August 2013: ns-3 was selected to the ESA Summer of Code in Space (SOCIS) program. Student applications were due by 4 August; we're waiting to hear back on selections. Please see our project ideas page for more information.
- 27 May 2013: Accepted two students (Junling Bu and Budiarto Herman) for Google Summer of Code.
- ns-3.17 was released on 14 May 2013.
- 6-8 March 2013, ns-3 developers meeting was hosted by INRIA. Meeting notes
- 5 March 2013, WNS3-2013: The fifth annual Workshop on ns-3, Cannes, France.
