The project is organizing a series of talks from speakers in industry who are using ns-3 to support their work. These talks will be held on Zoom and are free but registration is requested to obtain the meeting link.

  • Wednesday July 2, 2025, 15:00 UTC: Jing Zhu, Network Simulation Solutions LLC, “Web-NS3: A Cloud-Based Network Simulation-as-a-Service (NSaaS) Platform”
    • Abstract: Web-NS3 is a web-based, high-fidelity, full-stack Network Simulation-as-a-Service (NSaaS) platform that supports a range of wireless standards, including Wi-Fi, LTE, and 5G. Built on the widely adopted ns-3 simulation engine, Web-NS3 modernizes the traditional simulation workflow by integrating scalable cloud infrastructure with an intuitive web interface. In this talk, we will present an overview of Web-NS3 and highlight its key advantages over conventional standalone, installation-based network simulation approaches. We will demonstrate the streamlined workflow of cloud-hosted simulations and showcase key features such as interactive data visualization, online scenario editing, offline data processing, parameter sweeps, and ns-3 customization—supported by live demos.
