ns-3.45 was released on June 1, 2025, due to contributions from thirteen authors. This release features the addition of a new DHCPv6 model and continued support for Wi-Fi 802.11be, including 320 MHz channel support and EMLSR model improvements. See the file CHANGES.md for changed model behavior and build system aspects. Several improvements and bug fixes are listed in the RELEASE_NOTES and CHANGES files.

The ns-3.45 release download is available from this link. This download is a source archive that contains the mainline source code; an additional “allinone” release is planned to be released one month later that includes compatible modules from the ns-3 App Store. The ns-3 source code by itself can also be checked out of our Git repository by referencing the tag ‘ns-3.45’.
